Phoebus Optoelectronics LLC focuses on advanced electromagnetic and optical technology development and consulting.  Phoebus performs custom design/simulations and advanced materials/device development in the technology fields of metamaterials, photonic crystals and plasmonic crystals.  Our portfolio of R&D projects covers the spectral ranges of visible light, infrared, THz, and microwave radiation for applications in solar cells, infrared imaging, sensors and antennas.  Phoebus also provides an advanced electromagnetic and optical design tool Optus EOMD, a fast and flexible tool for rapid design of photonic crystals and metamaterials.

Phoebus is making available its internally developed Electromagnetic and Optical design tool Optus EOMD.  Optus EOMD is a fast, flexible and easy-to-use design and simulation tool that uses a optimized and stabilized rigorous coupled wave algorithm (RCWA).  Users can design any thin film stack, or any one, two or three-dimensionally periodic structure.  Such structures include optical filters, Bragg stacks, anti-reflection coating, optical filters, photonic crystals, plasmonic crystals and metamaterials.
